WIXOM, MI — The Frankel Jewish Academy Jaguars put together one of their most complete performances of the season on Wednesday, cruising to a 10-2 victory over the Detroit Cristo Rey Wolves in a dominant effort on both sides of the ball.

Junior pitcher Louis Kowalsky was nearly untouchable, throwing a complete game while striking out seven, allowing just two hits and one earned run. His command on the mound set the tone early and gave the Jags the breathing room they needed to take control of the game.

Kowalsky also helped his own cause at the plate, driving in two runs with a clutch single in the fourth inning. The offense came alive behind him, with sophomore Noam Kantor ripping an RBI triple and junior Aidan Squarcia delivering the biggest blow — a bases-clearing triple that broke the game wide open.

Defensively, the Jaguars were locked in. Juniors Max Upfall (SS) and Noah Tepper (C) made several key plays to keep Cristo Rey from mounting any momentum.

Head Coach Marvin Montgomery praised his team's growth and focus: "We are getting better every game, we’re getting better every week. We played a clean game," Montgomery said following the win.

The Jaguars (now building momentum late in the season) return to action on Monday, May 12th, when they host Detroit Loyola at 4:30 PM at Wixom Total Sports.
